For Windows 11 or Windows Server 2025

Downloads an App Installer file. Open it, and Windows installs Prism for AL.

For Windows 10

First time only: uninstall any existing Prism for AL. Your license and recent workspaces carry over.
Open the downloaded package and choose Install.

For Windows Server 2019–2022

First time only: uninstall any existing Prism for AL. Your license and recent workspaces carry over.
Copy the downloaded package to the server.
On Windows Server 2019, select Sideload apps or Developer mode in Settings | Update & Security | For developers.

In PowerShell, where you saved the package, run:

Add-AppxPackage -Path ".\Prism for AL 5.0.1.1 SE Setup x64 Compat.msix"

Pick the Windows version of the machine Prism will run on, which may not be this one.
